Legendary former AC Milan coach Arrgio Sacchi believes that Inter are currently the team with the best style of play in Serie A.
Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport in an interview published in today’s print edition, he praised the brand of football currently on display at the Nerazzurri.
Inter have been in good form this season, especially in recent weeks, and this can be seen in their place in the table as well as their goals scored and conceded across the season so far.
More than this, however, the team has looked very confident in how they play, showing a proactive possession-based style of football which has made them difficult to cope with.
Sacchi, himself a pioneer of attacking possession-based football in Italy during his time in charge of the Rossoneri, likes what he sees from this Inter.
“This Inter is playing really well,” he stated. “They have sustained a lot of what they did last year under Conte, but also went further. They are the most beautiful to watch.”
