Midfielder Arturo Vidal is set to start for Inter in their Serie A clash with Torino at the San Siro tomorrow.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 34-year-old is the favourite to start in place of Nicolo Barella ahead of Roberto Gagliardini.

Barella will miss the match against the Granata through suspension due to an accumulation of yellow cards, and so someone else from the squad will have to take his place in midfield.

Gagliardini is in the running, but Nerazzurri coach is likely to select Vidal ahead of him as the Nerazzurri head into their final Serie A match of the calendar year.

Meanwhile, Lautaro Martinez and Milan Skriniar are expected to come back into the starting eleven for the match.

The Gazzetta’s complete predicted starting eleven for the clash is as follows:

PROBABILE INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Vidal, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Perisic; Dzeko, Lautaro.
