Legendary former Inter defender Beppe Bergomi believes that the Nerazzurri are currently playing at the peak of their powers.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Bergomi praised the style of play at his former club, and suggested that they are currently giving the best possible account of what they can do on the pitch.

Inter have scored sixteen goals and conceded none in their last five games, in addition to having gotten a deserved 3-2 win over Napoli to kickstart this run of blistering form.

The scorelines and results have been the most important thing, but the nature of the performances has also won the Nerazzurri many admirers.

Virtually every player in the team seems to be in good form, and the way that the team plays as a unit looks very confident and organized, something Bergomi feels that the team has reached something of an apex point in terms of.

He characterized this Inter as “Expressing themselves at their peak.”

“Inzaghi’s team play well and make everything look easy,” he added, “starting with the match they won against Napoli and also thanks to the schedule.”
