The San Siro is expected to host over 40,000 spectators tomorrow when Inter play their last Serie A match of 2021 against Torino.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that ticket sales for the Serie A clash are somewhere in excess of 40,000.

Inter have welcomed fans back into the San Siro this season as Italy has allowed fans into stadiums once again after more than a year in which games were played behind locked doors.

Capacity has been restricted as a measure against the spread of COVID, with the stadium still only being legally able to be filled to up to 75% of full capacity.

There are still seats available for sale for the clash with the Granata tomorrow, although the turnout is still high for a midweek fixture, perhaps reflecting the importance of the match.

The Nerazzurri are guaranteed to head into the break as “winter champions” for the first half of the season but will still hope to end their 2021 on a high note in front of their fans.
