Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana’s agent will be in Milan to finalize the 25-year-old’s summer transfer to Inter next month rather than before the end of December.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the agent will be flying to France soon to attend to pressing matters rather than visiting Milan but that the move is still certain to happen.

The Nerazzurri have been in advanced talks about bringing Onana in next summer on a free transfer to replace Samir Handanovic in the long term for some time.

The plan had initially been for Botines to be in Milan today to get the finishing touches on the deal all wrapped up, but he is instead flying to Marseille where he will deal with the situation of on-loan keeper Pau Lopez.

Lopez is currently on loan with the Ligue 1 side from Roma but the club are ready to make his move a permanent one, so Botines will go to Marseille to facilitate this deal, postponing his trip to Milan until January.

This does not affect the signing of Onana to the Nerazzurri next summer, however, which remains all but done.
