Around 45,000 spectators are expected at the San Siro for this evening’s Serie A clash between Inter and Torino.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the ticket sales for the match have been around 45,000.

The Nerazzurri have welcomed fans back into the San Siro this season as Italian law has begun to allow fans back into stadiums following more than a year in which matches were played behind closed doors.

So far, the regulations still restrict capacity for matches to 75%, but Inter have still enjoyed the atmosphere generated by supporters after having had to play without an audience for more than a full season.

The 45,000 expected crowd for this evening’s match is not a sellout of the 75% capacity of total seats allowed by law, though it is still high for a midweek fixture as fans look to cheer on the team as they go in search of a seventh win in a row.
