The agent of Inter target Jonathan David has stated that the striker will only be spending one more season with his current club Lille.

Speaking to Canadian broadcaster Radio Canada, David’s agent Nick Mavramaras stated that the 21-year-old will leave the French side in the summer and that Serie A is a possible destination for him.

David’s good form since joining Lille in the summer of 2020 has attracted the interest of a number of top European clubs, with Inter among the most keenly interested.

The Nerazzurri will be looking to freshen their attacking with younger signings in the coming transfer windows, and David’s profile is considered to be a good fit, though it remains to be seen if this will materialize as a serious move for him.

As David’s agent explained, however, the Canadian will almost certainly be available next summer should the Nerazzurri be ready to compete for his signature with other clubs.

“Right now I don’t know how much it would cost to sign Jonathan” Mavramanas stated. “Of course, it will be up to Lille to set the price.”

“He knows he is one of the best strikers in the world and that he must learn to manage this pressure,” the agent added.

He explained that “Now he is only concentrating on Lille and finishing the season here in France at his best, but I can already say that it will certainly be his last season in the club.”

He continued that “I think the Premier League is a great option for Jonathan, but he would also be comfortable in La Liga, in a very technical league: these two are the favourite destinations.”

“But we would not rule anything mout, not even PSG or some big names in Serie A,” he went on.

“It is normal that all these big clubs are interested in the top scorer in Ligue 1,” Mavramanas continued, “but I can confirm that for now I have not received any official offers.”
