Inter striker Edin Dzeko wants to finish Inter’s 2021 off with a seventh win on the bounce, but he knows that they can’t take any result for granted against Torino this evening.

Speaking to InterTV ahead of the match, the Bosnian gave his thoughts ahead of the Nerazzurri’s final Serie A fixture before the Christmas break.

Inter have a Granata team in good form, with Ivan Juric’s men having looked very well-organized and shown the quality in their squad in their recent matches, not having lost any of their last four.

The Nerazzurri have won all six of their matches since the return from the November international break, but they will know that their opponent this evening could pose a bigger challenge than some of the teams that they have beaten recently.

Nevertheless, Dzeko and his teammates are very motivated to try and get one more win in as the first half of the season comes to a close.

“We want to finish off the year in the best possible way,” Dzeko stated we cannot relax. We want to give everything on the pitch to win.”

“In the last two months we have gone from almost being ten points behind to four points at the top of the table,” he stated. “But it doesn’t mean anything now, every game is worth three points points and you always have to give your all.”

He predicted that this evening’s clash will be a “Tough game, as always against Juric’s teams. It wil be a difficult game, but we are ready and we must continue to play as we have have been lately. Finishing well means winning today.”
