The capital gains offences investigation into Inter will continue to escalate despite the club claiming that they have no concerns about the process, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Il Giornale, there is expected to be developments in the case against Inter and many other Italian teams relating to the transfers of players in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

The Guardia di Finanza visited the Inter headquarters earlier this week on Tuesday where they acquired not only budgets and sales contracts but also the messages exchanged on official email accounts between various executives at the club involved in the trading of players.

That material will all be analysed before it is decided who needs to be investigated further. The accusations towards Inter in relation to capital gains offences refer to the sales of ten players which were deals that mostly took place with fellow Serie A side Genoa.
