Former Udinese coach Luigi De Canio has said that Simone Inzaghi’s Inter side are by far the most complete team in the division this season, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking whilst on Sky Sport in Italy, via FCInternews, Luigi De Canio did not hold back in his praise of this current Inter team by saying that the title is now in their hands.

“Inzaghi’s team is by far the most complete team in the league and will race to itself. It has greater awareness than last season by now and has put the car in gear. If the gap will increase, it will depend on the pursuers.”

The former coach was not 100% positive about Inter’s chances of retaining their Serie A title though as he admitted that their involvement in the Champions League could cause complications later in the season for the Nerazzurri.

“The only problems can come from the commitment in the Champions League, but the Nerazzurri have the squad to keep up with it.”

Inter have been drawn to face Liverpool in the Round of 16 in the Champions League which is one of the hardest ties they could have possibly got.

There is a very real chance that after the two matches against the Premier League side, there will be no more European involvement until next season.
