Inter defender Federico Dimarco arrived at Inter’s headquarters this morning to officially sign his new contract with the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the Italian wing back arrived at the Inter offices with his family on Thursday morning where he is expected to put pen to paper on his new contract and take all the necessary photos before the official announcement arrives from the club.

The new contract will keep the player at the club until at least 2026 and will put him amongst the average wage earners at the club.

He currently earns €600,000 per season but that wage is more in line with a player who is still being loaned out to smaller sides.

The contract comes as a reward for the way that Federico Dimarco has shown his importance to the team since rejoining from Hellas Verona where he was on loan.
