Inter will be without Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu against Bologna after he picked up enough yellow cards to receive a one match suspension, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the Turkish midfielder picked up a yellow card during the 1-0 win over Torino on Wednesday night which means he will have to be left out of Simone Inzaghi’s team that will travel down to face Bologna at the beginning of January.

Whilst this will be a blow for the Nerazzurri, they will be able to call upon Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella instead who was suspended for the same reason for the match against Torino.

That game ended 1-0 to Inter after Denzel Dumfries’ opening goal in the first half that was his third goal in four games.

Inter will want to beat Bologna in January as their following fixtures will be very difficult to navigate.
