Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has received widespread praise for the way he navigated his team through the 1-0 win over Torino on Wednesday night, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by L’Interista today, Simone Inzaghi was given positive reviews by almost every Italian newspaper or sports website after the match that ensured Inter end the calendar year top of Serie A by four points.

Both La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport gave the former Lazio coach a score of seven out of 10, with L’Interista, Corriere dello Sport, and Tuttomercatoweb choosing to go sightly lower and give the coach 6.5 out of 10.

The tactical exploits of Torino under Ivan Juric this season are known to be hard to handle for many teams but Simone Inzaghi managed to help his squad retain a slender one goal lead for the majority of the contest without losing their nerve.
