Former Inter defender Riccardo Ferri has claimed the current Inter team is the best to watch out of any he has seen in the past, according to a report in the Italian media.
Speaking whilst in the Pressing Lounge, via FCInternews, Riccardo Ferri labelled the current Inter team under the guidance of Simone Inzaghi as the most beautiful he had ever seen which is incredible praise for a manager who has only been in charge for half of a season.
“Since I started playing I have never seen such a beautiful expression of a team that gives continuity. In the games, in the results, which moves as correctly as Inzaghi’s team.”
Riccardo Ferri went on to say that this Inter team are better than the one that won the Scudetto under Antonio Conte last season and ended Inter’s nine season dominance over the Italian league.
“Ironically, this Inter is even better than last year’s.”
Inter have ended 2021 four points clear at the top of Serie A and look like the team to beat heading into 2022. The Nerazzurri have scored an impressive 49 goals so far just in the league and have reached the Round of 16 in the Champions League.
