Inter defender Federico Dimarco has officially signed a new Inter contract that will keep him at the club until 2026, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by an official statement on the club’s website, the young Italian defender today put pen to paper on his new contract that cements him as part of Simone Inzaghi’s plans for the foreseeable future.

The 24-year-old will now be contracted to the club until 30 June 2026 and will be on a higher wage that is more representative of his importance to the team and the club now that he is a first-team regular.

It was reported earlier today that the player had arrived at Inter’s headquarters with his family to actually sign his deal and now it is officially confirmed that he has followed the precedent set by Nicolo Barella, Lautaro Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni by committing his future to the club.
