Former AC Milan defender Massimo Ambrosini has said that the Inter players are clearly enjoying their time working under Simone Inzaghi, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking whilst on DAZN recently, via FCInter1908, Massimo Ambrosini first talked about how Inter navigated the 1-0 victory over Torino very well on Wednesday night.

“They interpreted the game well with Torino, they won it with merit, but honour must be given to the Granata.”

Inter took a relatively early lead thanks to a goal from Denzel Dumfries that was set up by Edin Dzeko and then managed to see the game out with a strong back line in what was clearly a tactically demanding game for Simone Inzaghi.

Massimo Ambrosini then explained that if enough people have suggested that the players are having fun working under Simone Inzaghi, then it is probably the truth.

“Do they have fun with Inzaghi? If more or less everyone says it, it means that it’s true. You have fun, however, if you have a spirit that guides you.”

The 1-0 win over Torino meant that Inter end the calendar year sitting four points clear of AC Milan at the top of the Serie A table.
