Inter are at risk of missing out on Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne due to the offer on the table from MLS side Toronto, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported today by Corriere dello Sport, there is a very real chance that Lorenzo Insigne’s time at Napoli could come to an end in June 2022 as there is still no contract agreement between the two parties.

The player wants to have a salary of around €5 million if he is to continue with the Azzurri but the club has so far only offered him €3.5 million in a deal that will run until 2025.

There has been exchanges of information between Lorenzo Insigne and four different Serie A clubs that include Inter, Juventus, AC Milan, and Lazio.

Despite that, a lucrative offer has been made to the player from MLS side Toronto who are willing to pay him €7 million per season.
