Inter will make a January swoop for Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez should they see any midfielders leave the club next month, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, there are four players who could potentially go through the exit door at Inter in the January transfer window which means the club must have a plan as to how they will react.

In regards to the midfield, Matias Vecino and Stefano Sensi are both possibilities when it comes to departures, so Simone Inzaghi will have to have that squad depth replaced.

That is why Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez, who is known to be incredibly keen on joining Inter, is such a genuine possibility. There is also a chance that Inter may use young Uruguayan striker Martin Satriano as part of the deal.

The forward would go on loan to Cagliari to get first team minutes.
