Inter would have to let Aleksandar Kolarov leave the club in January if there is to be any chance of Everton’s Lucas Digne joining the club, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported on social media by Italian transfer journalist Alfredo Pedulla, there is no real chance of Inter making any signings in January unless other players leave the club to make way for them.

That means that if Everton’s French wing back Lucas Digne is to join the Nerazzurri, Serbian defender Aleksandar Kolarov first need to find a new club for himself.

Similarly, it is very unlikely that Nahitan Nandez will be joining from Cagliari in the January window unless Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino can find a new club.

Another option on the left for Inter is Mohamed Fares who is currently on loan at Genoa from Lazio where he played under Simone Inzaghi.
