Inter defender Milan Skriniar has received praise for the way he played against Torino during the 1-0 win on Wednesday night, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Slovakian defender showed that he will not have his rhythm disrupted having been given a rest during the 5-0 victory over Salernitana in the previous match weekend.

He was restored into the starting line up for the tougher test against Ivan Juric’s Torino side and he once again showed his value to the team by remaining firm throughout and limiting the Granata to a minimal number of clear cut chances.

Milan Skriniar will actually be out of contract at Inter in June 2023 but there is apparently no sign of tasks starting imminently to extend his deal.

This is possibly because both parties are confident that they will be continuing together in the future.
