Inter could make a move for one of Mohamed Fares or Lucas Digne in January in order to compensate for outgoing players, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Inter are preparing for the possibility of Aleksandar Kolarov leaving the club in the January transfer window as he has barely featured at all for Inter under Simone Inzaghi this season.

In that eventuality, the club would need more cover at left back for Ivan Perisic as Federico Dimarco is being viewed more as a left sided centre back now.

The options available in January include Lazio winger Mohamed Fares who has worked with Simone Inzaghi in the past at the Biancocelesti and is currently on loan at Genoa.

Another is French full back Lucas Digne who appears to have fallen out with Everton coach Rafael Benitez very recently.
