Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has given his players a break from training until December 30.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the coach has told his players to focus on resting and enjoying their holidays until the 30th when they return to training.

Inter have had a taxing first half of the campaign, with fixtures piling up across Serie A and the Champions League, and things won’t get any easier starting in January.

The coach wants the players to take the winter break to recharge and get themselves rested both physically and mentally in anticipation of the challenges to come with a number of significant games right around the corner.

Inzaghi has not given the players any specific tasks or exercises to carry out over their break, and is only asking that they do regular maintenance exercises to keep themselves in shape for the return to training.
