Inter could allow Stefano Sensi to Sassuolo as part of a player-plus-cash exchange for Giacomo Raspadori or Gianluca Scamacca.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 26-year-old could depart on loan in January but also that he could make a return to the Neroverdi.

Sensi has not found much playing time this season, both because of injury and because of the wealth of midfield options at the Nerazzurri.

The likeliest option for Inter would be allowing the midfielder to leave on loan to a club where he could play his way back into form and raise his value.

Genoa and Spezia have been among the clubs to have inquired about Sensi, though it is thought that the player prefers a switch to a club of a higher stature.

A loan away to Empoli is another possibility, possibly more realistic given the Tuscan side’s form over the first half of the campaign.

However, another scenario for the player in which the Nerazzurri would allow for him to be sold permanently would be if Sassuolo were to accept him as part of a deal for Raspadori or Scamacca.

Inter are still highlight interested in both young Neroverdi strikers, and still considering ways of meeting the high valuations for them.
