Inter captain Samir Handanovic has been offered to Lazio for next summer by his agent, though the Biancocelesti are not yet ready to move for him.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that Handanovic’s agent Fali Ramadani has contacted the Biancocelesti’s Sporting Director Igli Tare about a possible move.

Inter will bring in Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana on a free transfer next summer, with the Cameroonian seen as the long-term successor to Handanovic in goal.

The Slovenian could still have a future at the Nerazzurri as the backup to Onana, but he could also leave in search of more playing time elsewhere.

A switch to Lazio would allow Handanovic to stay in Serie A, although right now the Biancocelesti have two keepers in the form of the experienced Pepe Reina as well as the younger Tomas Strakosha.

Should Lazio qualify for Europe then Lazio will likely extend with Reina, but should this not be the case then the Spaniard could leave and they could move for Handanovic.
