Inter are set to rival Juventus for the signature of Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, though he won’t come cheap.

This according to yesterday’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri are the two teams ready to move for the 22-year-old.

The Bianconeri are in the market for a striker after their attack has failed to really take flight so far this campaign following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Scamacca has become one of the main profiles who they are tracking, although the Nerazzurri are also increasingly serious about a move for him based on his form this season.

Inter are considering a striker who can allow them to move on from Edin Dzeko from next summer onwards, and Scamacca is one of the priority options.

The Neroverdi value Scamacca at around €30 million currently, and Inter and Juventus will both look to win the chase for his signature.
