Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is not convinced on the idea of leaving on loan next month and wants to stay at the Nerazzurri instead.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 26-year-old does not want to leave the club during the January transfer window in search of more playing time.

Inter have been considering the possibility of sending Sensi on loan given the relative lack of playing time that he has found this season, both due to injury and to the wealth of midfield options in the squad.

Spezia, Empoli, and Sassuolo are among the clubs interested in him in January, while the likes of Torino and Genoa had expressed interest a few weeks ago.

However, the player is not a fan of any of these ideas, according to the report, while his wages of €2.2 million net per season could be difficult for any of the proposed loan destinations to accommodate even paying half.
