Ajax goalkeeper is set to sign a four-year deal with Inter in the coming weeks that will see him join on a free transfer next summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Cameroonian will sign until 2026 and that he will earn a net of €3 million per season with the club.

Onana has long been identified as the Nerazzurri’s preferred arrival to replace captain Samir Handanovic in goal in the long term.

The 25-year-old’s deal with Ajax runs out at the end of June 2022, and he has announced that he will not renew with the Dutch champions.

Onana has long been reported to have an agreement with the Nerazzurri on a deal that would see him join the club next summer, and now it looks to only be a matter of time before he makes this official and signs his new contract to become an Inter player for next season.
