Former Inter defender Daniele Adani believes that the Nerazzurri are the only team in Serie A who do not have any real reason to dip into the January transfer market.

Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport in an interview published in today’s print edition, Adani gave the view that the Nerazzurri do not need to improve their squad next month.

Inter have shown quality and depth across all positions over the first few months of the season, rarely looking to have any real weaknesses in their squad as they reached the summit of the Serie A table.

It is still possible that the club will decide to take opportunities to reinforce what they have as the January window goes on.

However, their situation does look to be different from that of their Scudetto rivals who, for one reason or another, seem to have a need to bolster their squads.

“In my opinion, Inter are the only team in Serie A who have no real need for signings in January,” Adani stated, “beyond a few minor adjustments, should any players leave.”
