Inter are likely to make a January signing in the event that one of midfielder duo Stefano Sensi or Matias Vecino depart the club during the transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the pair would be allowed to leave and that in the event that they do they would be replaced.

The Nerazzurri will not make any major additions during the window next month, but their approach will depend on players leaving.

Martin Satriano is expected to depart on loan in search of more minutes, while Aleksandar Kolarov is another player who could be on his way out.

Vecino has a market in Serie A, La Liga, and the Premier League, while Sensi is also attracting significant interest for a loan over the second half of the season where he could get more playing time.

While Vecino would be amenable to a departure, the club have left Sensi’s future in the player’s hands, and the 26-year-old could still prefer to stay and fight for his place especially given that his wife is pregnant and prefers not to leave Milan.
