Arturo Vidal and Roberto Gagliardini look to be the two likeliest options to start in place of the suspended Hakan Calhanoglu for Inter in their Serie A clash away to Bologna.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the pair are ahead of Stefano Sensi to start in midfield for the Nerazzurri’s first match back from the winter break.

Calhanoglu’s yellow card against Torino means that he has picked up an accumulation of bookings and will not be able to appear against the Rossoblu.

Coach Simone Inzaghi looks likely to select one of Gagliardini or Vidal to take the 27-year-old’s place in the centre of the park, with both having been turned to in similar situations so far this season.

Meanwhile, Joaquin Correa is fully recovered from the thigh injury that ruled him out of the Nerazzurri’s last few matches before the winter break and will be back with the squad for the clash with the Rossoblu.
