Inter are targeting the likes of Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi and Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter next summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the the pair are two of the main considerations for the Nerazzurri starting in June.

Frattesi’s form this season has attracted the attention of a number of top clubs, and the Nerazzurri are one of the most interested in securing the 22-year-old’s signature.

However, the Neroverdi are now asking around €30 million for the midfielder, and Inter would likely face competition from a number of other clubs.

Ginter, meanwhile, has already signalled his intent to leave Gladbach, and the Nerazzurri have made him an offer to join the club on a four-year contract in the summer, though it remains to be seen if he will consider it.

The Nerazzurri look to be laying the groundwork for their summer transfer business as much as focusing on the imminent opening of the January window.
