Inter forward Joaquin Correa is fully fit after a thigh injury suffered earlier in the month and will be part of the squad that returns to training tomorrow.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that coach Simone Inzaghi will have the entire squad available to him when the team reconvenes to prepare for the second half of the season.

Correa missed the Nerazzurri’s last few matches prior to the winter break through a thigh injury, but he is now recovered.

The team is set to return to training tomorrow to start preparations for their return from the break in a match against Bologna.

Due to the recent spike in positive cases of COVID caused by the recent spread of the Omicron variant, the players will undergo several rounds of testing and will begin by training individually, but the aim is for the entire group to work together by Friday or Saturday.
