Juventus are reconsidering their pursuit of Sassuolo striker and Inter target Gianluca Scamacca during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Bianconeri are put off by the €40 million price tag for the striker and hoping to avoid an auction with Inter, AC Milan, and Fiorentina.

Scamacca’s form this season has made him a major target for a number of major Italian clubs, with the Nerazzurri one of the teams chiefly interested in him.

The Bianconeri have been considering a swoop for him next month as they look to add quality to their attack for the second half of the season.

However, Scamacca’s form has meant that the Neroverdi are hoping that they can raise the price tag especially with a number of clubs interested, and this could mean that Juventus decide against a move for him in January, and that he is much likelier to leave next summer.
