Inter-linked Torino captain Andre Belotti has become a target for MLS club Toronto FC now that they look to have secured the signing of Lorenzo Insigne next summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Canadian side have made an offer to the striker to join on a free transfer next summer when his contract with the Granata expires.

Insigne had been a target for Inter with his contract set to run out at the end of the season with Napoli, but it now looks as though he will join Toronto FC on a free transfer instead.

The MLS side are not done yet with pursuing Serie A players at the end of their contract, however, as they are also working to bring Belotti in when the 27-year-old’s current deal runs out at the end of June 2022.

It remains to be seen whether the striker would consider Toronto’s advances, while he remains a target for a number of clubs in Serie A including Inter.
