It is much more likely that Suning would sell Inter to American investors rather than the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Inter president Steven Zhang has been in the USA for a trip that the club has described as private.

It has been speculated that the Chinese businessman is actually holding meetings with groups and individuals who may wish to buy major shares in the Nerazzurri, allowing Suning to end their involvement.

Whilst nothing is concrete, it is much more likely for this route to be explored in the future rather than attempting a sale to PIF.

Steven Zhang will be in Milan very soon to watch the Supercoppa final against Juventus in person and that is when he will discuss such issues and other situations with the higher management at the Nerazzurri club.
