Everton defender Lucas Digne would only be available to Inter if he joined on loan during the January transfer window, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the French defender is of serious interest to Inter now as it has emerged that he has had a falling out with Spanish coach Rafael Benitez.

Inter would like more reinforcements in the area of the pitch as Aleksandar Kolarov is not seen as being part of the project and will leave soon, and Federico Dimarco is being more frequently used in the back three rather than on the wing.

The Nerazzurri are not the only interested team in the ex-Barcelona and AS Roma man, though. Premier League side Chelsea are also keen on acquiring more cover at left back. Everton wants the club he joins to have an obligation to buy the player.
