Inter are getting very close to striking an agreement with Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter on a free transfer, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
As has been reported by Sport Mediaset, via FCInter1908, Inter are just waiting for the green light from the German defender before they confirm that he will be joining the club for the 2022/23 season on a free transfer.
He is out of contract with his current side at the end of this campaign and he has already confirmed that he will not be renewing and will be joining a new club.
Inter have offered him a deal that would see him earn €3.5 million per season and that contract would run for four years, giving him stability in a team where he could win trophies in the very near future.
The player is expected to make a decision on his future soon depending on who else offers him a deal.
