Inter has scheduled a meeting for mid-January with Milan Skriniar in order to negotiate the renewal of his contract, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, Milan Skriniar appears to be next in line to be offered a new long terms contract after the club secured the signatures of Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, and Lautaro Martinez.

The Slovakian centre back will be out of contract in 2023 and he currently earns €3.2 million plus bonuses each season. Many teams admire the defender but it is clear that he wishes to remain at Inter.

That is why the club must act now to secure his future before his head is turned by a team that could perhaps offer more money than Inter.

It is thought that a new contract will take his salary to around €4.5 million per season instead and will keep him at the club until at least 2026.
