Inter president Steven Zhang is in the USA in order to try and sell Inter to potential American investment groups, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by Corriere dello Sport, Steven Zhang is in California where he will undergo a series of meetings with three potential US groups that have expressed interest in purchasing shares in the club.

Steven Zhang will also spend some time in Los Angeles before heading to Italy. The club has claimed the trip is for private reasons but reports claim otherwise.

A strong candidate to buy a large number of shares in the Nerazzurri is Daniel E. Straus who is a New York based businessman who is engaged in health care but also runs an investment fund that has already invested in sports in the past.

Steven Zhang values the share package at €1 billion at the moment.
