A network of transfers has appeared that centre’s on Inter and Juventus’ battle to sign Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, Sassuolo managing director Giovanni Carnevali is sat in a position of power knowing he can influence which big Italian team gets the services of Gianluca Scamacca in the summer should he make the move.

He has positive relations with Inter sporting CEO Beppe Marotta as well as Juventus executive Federico Cherubini. The man he replaced at the Bianconeri, Fabio Paratici, is also involved in the transfer situation.

That is because his current team, Tottenham Hotspur, are keen on making a move for Juventus forward Dejan Kulusevski or Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic. If the English team signs Dejan Kulusevski, Juventus are likely to direct that money towards signing Dusan Vlahovic.

That would leave Inter in pole position to sign Gianluca Scamacca.
