Both Inter and Juventus are in agreement that the Supercoppa Italiana final should be postponed to the end of the season, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two fierce rivals both want the same thing. For the Supercoppa final to be moved in order to ease the fixture congestion that the teams will be experiencing in January and February.

The game is currently set to take place in Italy on January 12th but both teams will be playing on January 9th in Serie A and Juventus are in action on January 15th.

Considering the timing of the game makes little difference to the tournament itself, the two clubs feel it should be played at the end of the season.

They now must await the decision from the Lega Calcio to see if they agree with the clubs and will move the game.
