Inter are not in a major rush to extend Simone Inzaghi’s contract as they are happy with the situation and the job he is currently doing, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, there has been rumours around the club that the management is keen on extending the contract that Simone Inzaghi is currently on by a year or two.

His current deal runs until 2024 and only started in the summer. His salary at the moment is €4 million per season plus bonuses and there is no suggestion that he wants that changed quickly.

Any new contract would purely be to project stability to the squad and the fans and reward the former Lazio coach for the work that he has done so far this season.

Inter currently sit top of the Serie A table with a four-point lead and are into the latter stages of the Champions League.
