Inter are confident that they will be able to find an agreement with midfielder Marcelo Brozovic soon about a contract extension past next summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri feel optimistic that they will be able to find an agreement with the Croat on wages.

Talks are ongoing on renewing with the 29-year-old past next summer when his current contract expires, and the club have yet to make an offer that the player is ready to accept.

However, the negotiations have already progressed to an advanced stage, and the mood is that the player and his entourage are also keen to get an agreement wrapped up.

Brozovic is a vital player for Inter on the pitch, and agreeing a new deal with him past June has been one of the major priorities for the club, so they will hope to get it done soon.
