Inter are interested in bringing Lazio defender Luiz Felipe in on a free transfer next summer, though they would face competition for his signature.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Brazilian has emerged as a target for the Nerazzurri with Vaencia and Zenit St. Petersburg his other main suitors.

Felipe’s current deal with the Biancocelesti is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and his current wages with the capital club are only €650,000 net per season, significantly lower than most players of his reputation.

The 24-year-old could decide to leave Lazio out of contract next summer, in which case Nerazzurrri coach would be interested in the player who he worked with for several seasons while in charge of the Biancocelesti.

Inzaghi is keen on bringing in the Brazilian to reinforce the backline, although the club would only be interested in doing so on a free transfer in June and not in a move for him this month.
