All four of Arturo Vidal, Joaquin Correa, Alexis Sanchez, and Matias Vecino will be available in the squad to face Bologna on Thursday after returning negative COVID tests.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri quartet have all been cleared to join the squad after COVID screening following their returns from South America.

The Nerazzurri have been taking significant precautions aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 as the players have returned to training following the winter break.

Players have been given several rounds of tests to ensure that they do not test positive for the virus due to the recent global spike in cases brought on by the emergence of the Omicron variant.

The likes of Edin Dzeko, Alex Cordaz, and Martian Satriano are all out of training and out of the squad for Inter’s first match back of 2022, away to Bologna.

However, all four players who had been in South America over their holidays have been cleared to re-join the squad and should be available to face the Rossoblu.
