Inter-owned Brest midfielder Lucien Agoume is hoping that he can play his way into the Nerazzurri first team.

Speaking to media outlet Amlux, via FCInterNews, the 19-year-old emphasized that he is aiming to impress on loan and then earn a spot in Inter’s team.

Agoume has found more of a prominent role on loan with Brest this season in Ligue 1 than he did across all of last season on loan with Spezia.

The teenage Frenchman decided to join the French club in order to get regular playing time and develop, and that is how things have gone for him so far this season.

For Agoume, the end goal is a return to his parent club the Nerazzurri, and he will hope that by working hard and continuing to show his quality on loan he will catch the club’s eye and be able to star at the Giuseppe Meazza in the future.

“Going back to play at Inter is my main objective,” he said. “I signed for Inter knowing that they’re a great club. They won the Scudetto last season. I’d like to play my way into a spot there, Forza Inter.”
