Chelsea will not consider the possibility of loaning striker Romelu Lukaku back to Inter.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Premier League club have no intention of entertaining any offers for the Belgian to return to the Nerazzurri on loan.
Chelsea made a significant investment in Lukaku over the summer, paying a €115 million transfer fee for his signature in addition to the player’s wages which are the highest at the London club.
Even though the 28-year-old has not yet settled in and found consistent form for the Blues, they would consider a loan return to the Nerazzurri to be out of the question.
Lukaku’s candid recent remarks in an interview with Sky Sport Italia suggested that he would like a return to Inter, but Chelsea’s position is certain to stand in the way of this happening for the foreseeable future as they prefer to continue with their investment.
