Inter are interested in loaning in Roma midfielder Gonzalo Villar this month, but only if two players depart from the position first.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are only likely to move for the Spaniard should two midfielders leave during the January transfer window.

Villar looks to be available this month having fallen out of favour at the Giallorossi, and the Nerazzurri are considering him as a possible backup to Marcelo Brozovic in midfield.

Inter would only move for the 23-year-old on a dry loan, however, and it remains to be seen if the Giallorossi would be open to a move with this formula.

Moreover, the Nerazzurri would first have to move on Matias Vecino, who has been linked with a move away, and Stefano Sensi, who could leave on loan but currently prefers to stay for the rest of the season.
