Serie A referee Giovanni Ayroldi has officially been named to be in charge of Inter’s Serie A clash away to Bologna on Thursday.
This is confirmed by an announcement on the Nerazzurri’s official site, who also list the rest of the full refereeing crew for the fixture.
Ayroldi will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Mauro Galetto and Alessandro Cipressa, while the role of fourth official will be filled by Luca Massimi.
In the VAR booth, Daniele Doveri will oversee the match looking to ensure that any major errors made by the on-pitch officials are overturned, while his assistant will be Stefano Alassio.
The Nerazzurri will be hoping that the focus for the match will be on the action taking place on the pitch and not on any refereeing controversy as they look to get their 2022 off to the right start going in search of three points from Emilia-Romagna.
