Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal are set to start for Inter in their Serie A clash with Bologna on Thursday.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Chilean duo are favourites to play from the start away to the Rossoblu.

Inter are missing Hakan Calhanoglu for the away match in Emilia-Romagna due to suspension, and Vidal is likely to fill in for him and start his second Serie A match of the season having also played from the start against Torino before the winter break.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are also set to be without Edin Dzeko in attack due to the 35-year-old having tested positive for COVID, and Sanchez is the favourite to start in his place ahead of Joaquin Correa.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will look to use his full squad through the busy January schedule, especially with uncertainty around player availability thanks to injuries and COVID.
